DCU Business School Alumni Breakfast Series – November
DCU Business School is pleased to welcome Pat McDonagh to speak at the next Alumni Breakfast, which will take place on November 20th on third floor of the Business School. Pat McDonagh is, arguably, the most successful e-learning entrepreneur of all time. He is the founder of CBT/Smartforce (now known as SkillSoft), Riverdeep (K-12 Education), Thirdforce/Mindleaders and Digisoft TV.
CBT was started in 1983 and listed on the NASDAQ in April 1995 and reached a $3 Billion market capitalisation in the following years. Riverdeep listed on the NASDAQ in March 2000 and reached a market capitalisation of $1.8 Billion on the day it floated. Thirdforce was sold to Skillsoft for $65 Million in September 2012. Pat McDonagh is the largest shareholder in DigiSoft.tv Ltd, a Cork-based technology company whose solution enables the deployment of video and interactive services on the Television.
Pat will share with us his experience as an entrepreneur. If you would like to attend, please email dcubsalumnievents@dcu.ie to reserve your place.
As you are aware, the breakfasts are booked out really quickly and we have limited capacity so early booking is advised. Please note that the event is open only to Business School Graduates and a small number of final year students.
