DCU Business School Launches the 2025 Practicum Client Projects with 30 Industry Partners
Dublin City University Business School was delighted to host the official launch event of the 2025 Practicum Client Projects on the 5th and 6th of February. This event marked the beginning of the postgraduate module collaboration between 30 industry partners and our postgraduate students, who will work together over the coming months to tackle real-world business challenges.
During the event, client organisations were introduced to their student project teams, setting the stage for a dynamic and impactful partnership. Each project is designed to provide valuable insights and practical solutions, allowing students to apply their academic knowledge in a business context while offering fresh perspectives to industry partners.
Executive Dean of DCU Business School, Professor Dominic Elliott, highlighted the significance of this initiative:
“The Practicum Client Project is a good example of how DCU Business School connects industry with academia. By working closely with organisations on real business challenges, our students develop critical problem-solving skills, gain hands-on experience, and contribute meaningful insights to our industry partners.”
The Practicum Client Project builds on DCU Business School’s strong tradition of industry engagement, encouraging creativity and strategic thinking among students. Each participating organisation has presented a live business challenge, ranging from market research and business process improvements to digital marketing strategies and international expansion plans. Over the next 6-8 weeks, students will work closely with their assigned companies, conducting in-depth research and delivering actionable recommendations.
We extend our best wishes to all our students as they embark on this journey and look forward to seeing the innovative solutions they develop.
