DCU Business School ranks in the Times World University Rankings 2021
DCU has ranked in the top 250 globally for Business and Economics subjects, in the latest Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings 2021 by subject announced today. This latest ranking represents upward movement from 2019, when DCU ranked in the 250 – 300 ranking.
In September, DCU was announced as one of the top 600 universities in the world according to THE, and it was also one of only two Irish universities to improve its overall position.
Welcoming the latest subject rankings, the President of DCU, Professor Daire Keogh said,
“These subject rankings are a testament to the world class teaching and learning expertise of DCU staff, and a welcome recognition of their hard work and dedication. We are delighted to receive this international affirmation, which demonstrates the strength of subjects taught across all our faculties and highlights the transformational student experience on offer at DCU.”
The THE subject rankings draws on the same dataset and methodology as used for the THE World University Rankings which judge research-intensive universities across their core mission: teaching research, knowledge transfer and international outlook. Over 1500 institutions from 93 countries are ranked. The subject rankings measure performance in 11 broad areas.
