Brian Harney was awarded Best LERA/AILR paper at the Labour Employment Relations Association Conference, Portland, Oregon in June 2014 for his paper ‘Using skeletons from the past to flesh out a future for HRM theory and research’
A paper co-authored by Brian Harney, Na Fu and Yseult Freeney entitled ‘Examining the Impact of Recession on Employee Well-being: A Moderated Mediation Model based on Job Demands and Resources’ was Best Paper Finalist at the Academy of Management HR division International Conference, which was held in Beijing, June 2014
A paper entitled ‘Building to grow or growing to build: Insights from Irish High Growth SMEs (HGSMEs)‘ co-authored by Brian Harney, Colm O’Gorman and Rachel Kidney was awarded Dell Best Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Small Business Management Paper at the recent Irish Academy of Management Conference, University of Limerick, September 2014.
