Dublin City University Business School Participates in Fifth International Conference on Digital Economy.
DCU Business School was represented by Professor Theo Lynn at the Fifth International Conference on Digital Economy, which took place on 11 October 2025 at the Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications (BUPT).
The conference, hosted by the School of Economics and Management at BUPT and co-organised by the Tsinghua Laboratory for Computational Social Science and State Governance, the BUPT-CASISD Joint Research Centre for Digital Strategy, the Economics and Management Innovation Committee of the China Institute of Communications, and the DCU Institute for Business and Society, focused on the theme “Navigating Economic Transformation and Management Innovation in the AI Era.”
The hybrid-format event attracted more than 130 participants, including academics, graduate students, and practitioners from leading institutions in China and overseas.
Professor Theo Lynn delivered a keynote address alongside speakers from the 中国社会科学院大学 University of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (UCASS), the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology, Tsinghua University, the The University of Texas at Austin, and Monash University Malaysia.
The conference provided an international platform to examine the impact of artificial intelligence on digital economic transformation and management innovation, and to strengthen research collaboration between institutions.
