Venue, Local Travel & Parking:

Our modern purpose built campus is situated in at the heart of Dublin city centre in the midst of Dublin’s International Financial Services Centre (IFSC).

It is serviced by the city’s commuter light rail system, the Luas. The Luas (Docklands) Red Line stops right outside the main entrance to the college.  Trains will run every 6 minutes from the Mayor Square/NCI stop. For further information, visit www.luas.ie

A number of Dublin City buses link the campus to both the Southside and Northside of the city (https://www.ncirl.ie/Campus/Location-Transportation/Public-Transport)

Trains and Dublin Area Rapid Transport (DART) can be accessed at Connolly Station and Pearse Street Station which are within five minutes’ walk of NCI. At peak times, the DART runs every 10 minutes.

The nearest paid visitor car parks are located at the NCI and IFSC carparks and can be found on this link (https://www.ncirl.ie/Campus/Location-Transportation/Car-Parking).

The NCI underground car park is open from 07:00 to 23:00 Monday to Sunday.

The IFSC (Park Rite) paid visitor car park is located at Commons Street, Dublin 1.  This serves Dublin’s financial services centre including the National College of Ireland campus, and is a 3-minute walk from the Convention Centre.  There is also Euro Car Parks Convention Centre parking also located on Mayor Street Upper, Dublin 1. This is location is a short 3-minute walk to NCI.

The NCI car park also has bicycle racks for those travelling by bike.

Paper Presentations:

Each paper is allocated 15 minutes for presentation, followed by a 5-minute Q&A for each paper. Each room has a Windows based PC linked to a projector. The final programme when available will be found via this link: (http://programme.exordo.com/iam2019/).

Welcome Reception & Awards Ceremony:

Please join us for a welcome reception on Wednesday evening, 28th August. The Best Paper awards for each track will be presented, in addition to the Best Postgraduate Paper.

The winner of the Best Postgraduate Paper will also be funded to travel to the British Academy of Management Conference in 2020.

Conference Dinner

The Conference Gala Dinner will take place on Thursday 29th August. The overall Best Conference Paper award will be presented on the evening, in addition to the Irish Academy of Management Whitaker and Fellowship Awards.
