Event Description
For this event, we will be joined by Des Gasper, Sunil Tankha and Amod Shah, outlined below, who will discuss how The Irish Institute of Social Studies, Netherlands are helping to achieve SDG 12.
Des Gasper is retired Professor of Human Development, Development Ethics, and Public Policy at the International Institute of Social Studies of Erasmus University Rotterdam, Netherlands. He worked from around 2005 on climate change policy debates and ethics, human security analysis, and the roles for universities in relation to environmental change.
Amod Shah
Amod Shah is a PhD researcher at the International Institute of Social Studies of Erasmus University Rotterdam. His research focuses on land dispossession-related conflicts in India. He worked earlier at the Centre for Equity Studies in New Delhi.
Sunil Tankha is Senior Lecturer of Public Policy and Management at the International Institute of Social Studies of Erasmus University Rotterdam. He has researched extensively on economic policy reforms, infrastructure development and climate change in Americas, Europe and Central and South Asia.
