The Graduate Certificate in Financial Intelligence and Technology is delivered by DCU Business School in association with IFS Skillnet and is designed for people who want to add modern financial techniques and innovation expertise to their existing finance experience.
This level 9, postgraduate programme is provided through online distance learning, which means that students can achieve a deeper understanding in a specialist area and provide a sound basis for their long-term career, without disruption to their career or other commitments.
This progamme comprises four stand-alone microcredentials, each worth 7.5 credits, which can be taken individually or as a block to achieve the Graduate Certificate.

Data Science for Finance
This Micro-Credential covers the nature and approaches of data science and, in particular, will approach finance through an immersion in Python coding. Python is the most popular language of data science and this module will bring you from the very basics of coding in Python through to advanced techniques for understanding financial data. The module is relevant to anyone wishing to acquire or deepen their knowledge of the subject matter. Employees working with financial data will particularly benefit.
