Postgraduate Scholarships
30% Club
DCU Business School is delighted to once again provide the 30% Club Scholarship. This is a €10,000 fee scholarship to be used for part-time postgraduate study. The 30% Club is a global movement of international Chairs and CEOs who are committed to better gender balance at all levels of their organisations through voluntary actions.

John Thompson Scholarship
Family and friends of the late John Thompson and Dublin City University Business School are welcoming applications for the John Thompson Scholarship. This scholarship will cover the fees of one MSc Digital Marketing Student.

Business School International Scholarship
This scholarship is available for Non-EU applicants who have received an offer to study on eligible postgraduate programmes in the DCU Business School. Successful recipients will receive a €2,000 fee reduction on the full-time 2026–2027 Non-EU Tuition fee.

trustLAB PhD Scholarship
trustLAB at the DCU Institute for Business and Society is delighted to announce a corporate sponsored scholarship to support two full time PhD scholars conducting groundbreaking research on trust.
Trust is the foundation of our connection, collaboration and communication with people and organisations both within the workplace and across society. With over 30 researchers, including 15 DCU faculty, research students and international members, trustLAB is focused on developing a multidisciplinary understanding of trust processes that supports positive work relationships across a variety of contexts.
Our current research programme focuses predominantly on:
Active trust management | Strategies for developing and protecting trust in interpersonal relationships and relationships between organisations and their employees.
Trust and technology | Development of trust between people and disruptive technologies, the emergence of trust between technologies themselves, and the influence of technology on workplace relationships.
Drivers of trust and distrust | Identity, motivational, emotional, and contextual factors influencing dynamic (dis)trust processes over time.
This PhD scholarship will support the successful applicant to develop further research on the concept and understanding of trust within the trustLAB community.

PhD / MPhil Tuition Fee-Only Scholarship for Part-time Students
DCU Business School invites applications for part-time PhD or MPhil fee-only scholarships. Our Postgraduate Research programmes combine scholarly theory-building with a strong applied focus. Research scholars work under the supervision of academic experts and are an important part of DCU Business School’s vibrant research community.
The scholarships are open to new applicants who will register in Year 1 of the part-time PhD programme or MPhil programme in DCU Business School in the 2026/2027 academic year.
The following scholarship types will be awarded: payment of fees, to the maximum of the EU fee per annum, for a maximum of five years for part-time PhD students and three years for part-time MPhil students. The scholarship is for tuition fees only, without additional support for living expenses or other costs.
