Overview

DCU Business School offer the Excel Scholarship Scheme to external graduates who have received a first honours degree in their undergraduate education. This scholarship aims to reward academic excellence and recruit the highest quality students.

Entry Requirements / Eligibility

Students applying to this scholarship must meet the following criteria:

First Class Honours or equivalent undergraduate.
Subject to EU fees status

NOTE:

If the scholarship recipient fails to complete the programme, the scholarship is forfeited and the
scholarship recipient is liable for the full tuition fees and costs of subsequent subjects.
Scholarship recipients agree to become ambassadors of programme undertaking, activities agreed
as reasonable and acceptable. This includes matters such as attending recruitment events;
answering enquiries of prospective students; and contributing short articles and use of scholarship
recipient’s images for newsletters and blogs.

*A student may only avail of one scholarship for a postgraduate programme at DCU Business
School. DCU Business School decision is final.

How To Apply

You will not be required to apply for this scholarship. The discount will automatically be applied to your fees when we receive your academic transcript.

*Please note students cannot be awarded more than one DCU Business School scholarship at a time.

Eoghan O’Keefe – Excel Scholar – MSc Electronic Commerce (2020)

I was fortunate enough to avail of the Excel Scholarship while pursuing my MSc E-Commerce degree. This is awarded to students who achieved a first class honours undergraduate degree at a different university to Dublin City University. This scholarship was of great benefit to me, making it financially viable to pursue a degree that has been extremely beneficial to me. Additionally, it was extremely easy to become eligible for the scholarship, simply requiring participants to sign up using the Excel Scholarship page on the DCU Business school website. It was also extremely satisfying on a personal level to be rewarded for my hard work during my undergraduate degree.
