Orlagh Reynolds is an Assistant Professor in Entrepreneurship with DCU Business School. Dr Reynolds has previously worked as a postdoctoral researcher on Science Foundation Ireland and Interreg Europe funded projects in University College Dublin and NUI Galway. She most recently investigated processes of bioeconomy innovation and entrepreneurship, focusing on rural and high technology entrepreneurship.
Orlagh received her PhD in Management from NUI Galway, where her doctoral studies examined the legitimation strategies of sustainability-oriented entrepreneurs. She is interested in qualitative approaches to examining why and how entrepreneurs pursue sustainability goals and demonstrate impact. She also researches innovation teams and entrepreneurship education.
Her research has been published in international peer reviewed journals such as the International Journal of Entrepreneurial Behavior and Research, is regularly presented at national and international conferences, and is under review with several leading journals in the field. Orlagh is also a Faculty Advisor for Enactus DCU, the global non-profit community of student social entrepreneurs.
