Originally from India, Sriteja Reddy Wudaru is an Assistant Professor in Sustainable Innovation in the Work, Psychology and Strategy group at DCU Business School. He has obtained his PhD in Management with Excellence cum laude from Luiss Guido Carli University in Rome, Italy. He was also a visiting researcher at Warwick Business School, University of Warwick, in the UK. He also has a Master of Global Management from Antwerp Management School in Antwerp, Belgium, and a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University in Hyderabad, India.
Prior to joining DCU, Sriteja had also been a postdoctoral researcher in the Netherlands and a Teaching and Research Assistant at Luiss. Before his PhD, Sriteja had also worked in the luxury industry in both Belgium and India, as a Strategist for a pan-Asian/European luxury company where he was responsible for marketing, corporate strategy and expansion in the entire European area.
Sriteja’s research lies at the intersection of organizations, individuals and society; from organizational routines to sustainable business, and from social entrepreneurship to stigma, he focuses on practice-based research that can inform policy and practitioners in embracing sustainability and actionable change in everyday life. His PhD thesis was on The Paradox of Coordination and Conflicts in Organizations which was a qualitative research study in a hospital setting. His research was presented several times at EGOS and he is a frequent participant at the Routines Research Community Meetings. He also has two teaching cases published through Luiss University Press.
Outside academics, Sriteja is also a writer, novelist and a spoken-word artist. His first novel The Silent Sound was a fictional thriller and his first spoken-word poetry collection, Unspoken Words, was published recently in 2021. He often performs spoken-word poetry at open mics and poetry slams across Dublin.
