Go Global 4 Growth Programme delivered by DCU Business School for Enterprise Ireland
Wednesday marked the completion of the second Go Global 4 Growth Programme delivered by DCU Business School for Enterprise Ireland. Go Global is a unique programme aimed at ambitious SMEs who are hungry to grow, professionalise and increase their global reach. The programme, led by Prof. Finian Buckley, took 19 Irish SMEs on a growth journey over the last 7 months with three two-day expert modules hosted by the Business School. The programme is for the SME top management teams, with three or more managers from each firm attending the workshops, which focus on topics such as Strategy Development, Innovation and Operational Excellence. Each firm also benefits from over 20 hours of specialist Coaching support back in the firm between the DCU modules.
Participant firms attend from all corners of Ireland and included Chanelle Pharmaceuticals, O’ Brien’s Foods, Arklu, The Wicklow Wolf Brewery, Emerald Cultural Institute, Finol and the Happy Pear, to mention just a few.
Reflecting DCU Business Schools award of the Small Business Charter for dedication to indigenous SME growth, the Go Global programme will see nearly 50 SMEs (150 managers) attending DCU each year for the next 4 years, representing the largest ever leadership development programme for SMEs in Ireland.
