Irish Aviation Authority and Dublin City University to create world class education and training partnership

DCU has signed a cooperation agreement with the Irish Aviation Authority, Ireland’s aviation regulator. The agreement covers a range of shared commitments to aviation education and research excellence.

Ireland is home to some of the world’s most innovative and progressive aviation companies. The research experience of the University and the industry knowledge of the Regulator will leverage this expertise and provide a unique opportunity for the further development of the sector both locally and internationally.

The Chief Executive of the Irish Aviation Authority, Declan Fitzpatrick, welcomed the agreement as a sign of a maturing market for aviation excellence in education.
